⏤ common questions
GSP can prepare base plates, cleats, connection plates, brackets and other custom plate components. Send the drawings, quantities and material specifications so we can confirm the processing requirements.
Yes. Dimensioned drawings should identify the plate profile, thickness, steel grade, hole sizes and positions, quantities and any required tolerances. Let us know which drawing or digital file formats you have available so we can confirm their suitability.
Yes. Plates can be cut and drilled to the supplied details for use in bolted connections or further fabrication. Hole patterns, edge distances and assembly requirements need to be clearly documented before processing begins.
Yes. Processed plates and connection components can form part of a wider GSP fabrication scope. We can coordinate their preparation with the associated steelwork, welding and assembly requirements.
This service covers processing and fabrication to supplied connection details. Structural connection design and approval remain with the responsible project engineer unless a different scope has been expressly agreed. Any proposed changes affecting structural performance must be referred back to that engineer.
Send the component drawings, quantities, steel grades and plate thicknesses, together with cutting, drilling and finish requirements. Include your project location, required delivery date and whether you need material supply, processed parts only or further fabrication.
