Client Designed Custom Doors and Gates Collection

⏤ PROJECT OVERVIEW

This collection brings together bespoke residential doors, gates and side-access screens created from designs supplied by clients. Rather than adapting a standard catalogue pattern, each piece begins with the client’s visual direction and is resolved into a practical, fitted metalwork assembly.

The work includes ornamental entry gates, decorative verandah gates, solid privacy-panel doors, vertical-bar side gates and mesh-screened access panels. While each project has its own character, the fabrication approach remains consistent: preserve the defining design details while coordinating the frame, infill, hinges, locks and clearances around the available opening.

Decorative scrolls, curves, spear details and fine mesh require careful consideration of proportion and spacing. In narrow side passages and non-standard openings, the practical requirements are just as important as the visual result. Frames, hardware and gate movement must work cleanly within the space without compromising the original concept.

The collection demonstrates GSP Engineering’s capability to translate client-led residential designs into custom metalwork that is both individually detailed and built for everyday use.
