Custom Residential Steel - Geometric Fencing Gates and Screen Doors

For this Glenroy residence, the client developed a distinctive rectangular pattern to connect the driveway, front boundary and entrance. GSP Engineering executed the design through a coordinated package of custom fence infill panels, an electric sliding driveway gate and matching double front screen doors.

A repeated geometric motif carries across each element, creating a cohesive visual language from the boundary to the front door. While the driveway gate, fence panels and screen doors each required different proportions, the charcoal finish and related rectangular geometry ensure they read as one considered design.

The custom fence infill panels sit above the rendered boundary wall, retaining views of the established garden while giving the frontage a more defined architectural presence. The tracked electric sliding gate extends the same pattern across the driveway opening, while the double screen doors bring it to the home’s entry.

The front doors were fabricated from solid steel and designed to provide approximately 75% privacy screening. Mesh-backed panels, hinges, handles and the central meeting line were integrated within the geometric design so the doors remain both practical and visually resolved.

The completed project demonstrates GSP’s ability to translate a client-led concept across fencing, automated gates and entry doors, delivering a tailored residential metalwork solution with a consistent finish from street to front entrance.
